Katie Knox PCC-S, NCC- Owner/Chief Executive Officer, Therapist

Katie Knox is a Licensed Clinical Counselor with Supervisor Status and is a Nationally Certified Counselor. She has over 20 years experience in assessing and treating those suffering from depression, anxiety, childhood behavioral issues, post-traumatic stress disorder, self harm, eating disorders, personality disorders, and mood disorders. Katie has a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling with a Master's+ Training Certification. Katie has supervision experience including directing a variety of mental health programs. Katie tailors her approach to each client's individual needs. She believes every individual has different strengths and weaknesses. She provides a safe and supportive environment that allows each individual to work on his/her goals in therapy. Katie utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, psychodynamic interventions, and other therapies.

Sarah Day MSW, LISW- Therapist

Sarah Day is a is Licensed Independent Social Worker with over 14 years of experience. Sarah graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology from Ohio University and a Master's in Social Work from West Virginia University. Sarah specializes in crisis intervention and individual therapy. Sarah uses an eclectic approach to meet each of her clients where they currently are in their lives, providing services across the lifespan. Sarah feels strongly that counseling is a highly individualized service. Sarah prides herself on respecting each individuals unique beliefs, values, and life experiences as they work toward personal goals.


Leigh Huggins MSW, LISW-S - Therapist

Leigh Huggins is a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Supervisor. She received her Master of Social Work degree from West Virginia University, where she has taught as an adjunct instructor for the MSW program, has been a keynote speaker for the Wheeling, WV cohort of the WVU MSW program, and has sat as a panelist for Continuing Education presentations for the same program. Leigh utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral and psychodynamic approaches with her therapy clients, as well as Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Crisis Intervention. Leigh has 20 years of experience bringing compassionate, trauma-informed approaches to a multitude of life’s issues and diagnoses, including PTSD, depression, anxiety, anger management problems, personality disorders, grief and loss, stress management, suicidal thoughts and self-harm. She is an expert at working with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Leigh accepts clients from ages 7 through 107.


We are currently accepting applications to add additional part-time therapists (LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, MFT, IMFT). We are also open to discussing unpaid internships toward Masters completion. We are always accepting applications for internships related to the administrative side of private practice.
